Seattle Hats was established in Seattle in 1998 by local artist Jo Kaseter, whose line of children hats are uniquely designed and well received by locals and out-of-towners alike. They are featured in boutiques and arts and crafts shows across the country. If you are planning a trip to Seattle, be sure to stop by the original location at Pike Place Market and our newest location at Seatac International Airport.
Behind the Scenes
Many of our designs were informally inspired from my childhood all time classic Flower Fairies Books by Cicely M. Barker. I just love those little flower fairies, and most of them wear sweet little hats.
Each of our hats are hand crocheted or knitted with much love and dedication. We work hard and diligently to bring you our beautiful perfected products. The Seattle Hats family has a great team who values perfection and attention to detail. Each of our crafters specializes in a particular portion of the hat, such as the hat base, flower making, embroidering, fruits or leaf details. We then put them together at our stores and at our home. This also gives you the option of customizing your own creation!
